Three great examples of tire type at the World of Speed in Wilsonville, OR.
For my birthday, my girlfriend took me to the World of Speed museum located outside Portland. The cars and motorcycles were awesome, but I was enamored with the vintage tires and the typefaces that were used on each.
There are a lot of gaudy examples of tire type in modern cars, but I wish there was a more understated option for people who want a little dress-up to their everyday street tires. Whitewalls are one thing, but some crisp white letters on a sidewall can really set off the wheel wells of even the roughest vehicle.
